Take a screenshot of my Linux desktop
When you contact our 24/7 Support team, we might ask you to provide a screenshot of your desktop to help us resolve your issue.
To take a screenshot of your Linux desktop
- Press the Print Screen (Print Screen, Prnt Scrn, prt sc, or PrtScn) key on your keyboard.
- To capture only your active window press the Alt key before pressing the Print Screen key.
- To capture a specific section of your screen, press shift and PrtScn then left click and drag to select an area.
- The screenshot will save as a .PNG file in your
/Pictures
folder.
