Take a screenshot of my Mac desktop

When you contact our 24/7 Support team, we might ask you to provide a screenshot of your desktop to help us resolve your issue.

1. Hold down the command key as well as the shift key, then press the 3 key at the same time.
2. To capture a specific section of your screen, hold down command key as well as the shift key, then press the 4 key at the same time.
   • Left click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
   • Release the left mouse button to take the screenshot.
3. To capture a specific window, hold down the command key as well as the shift key, then press the 4 key at the same time; then press the spacebar.
   • Click the window you want to capture.
4. The screenshot will save as a .PNG file on your desktop.
