Push your staging site to the production site
After you work on changes in your Managed WordPress staging site, you can push all the changes you made to your live site.
Note: Staging sites are available if you have a Deluxe, Ultimate, Developer, or Pro Managed WordPress account. If you have a Basic account, you need to upgrade your account to use a staging site.
- Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
- Next to Managed WordPress Websites, click Manage All.
- Choose the set of instructions for the type of hosting manager you are using.
Note: If you're not sure what type of hosting manager you are using, see What type of hosting manager am I using?.
Gateway
- Click Settings under the site you want to use.
- Click the Staging tab.
- Select Push staging to production.
- If want to move content (e.g. posts, comments, pages) created in staging to production, select Overwrite content.
Warning: If you push with this option selected, any posts, comments or other content that do not exist in staging will no longer exist. Always make sure that the site you have on staging is what you want live before performing a push to production.
- Click OK.
My Hosting
- Click Settings under the site you want to use.
- Click Staging in the top green menu bar.
- Click Sync Sites in the top right corner of your screen.
- Select Push staging to production.
- If want to move content (e.g. posts, comments, pages) created in staging to production, select Overwrite content.
Warning: If you push with this option selected, any posts, comments or other content that do not exist in staging will no longer exist. Always make sure that the site you have on staging is what you want live before performing a push to production.
- Click Sync.
