Edit files in cPanel hosting

You can edit the contents of any text-based files on your hosting account.

Note: Before making changes, we recommend creating a copy of your files.

1. Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the cPanel account you want to use, click Manage.
4. Click cPanel Admin.
5. Click the File Manager tab.
6. Select the file you want to use, and then click Code Editor or HTML Editor.
7. Select any encoding options you want to use.
8. Edit your file, and then click Save Changes.
