Enable SSH

SSH is a secure method of connecting to your hosting account to upload files, move files, and execute commands. Customers using paid Linux shared hosting accounts can enable it.

1. Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the cPanel account you want to use, click Manage.
4. Click cPanel Admin.
5. In the Security section, click SSH Access.
6. Click Enable.

You can now log in to cPanel using your primary FTP/cPanel user's login information.

Note: You don't need to configure any public or private keys with cPanel Shared or Business hosting.
