Request access to another person's HostingDude.com account

If you need to help someone manage a HostingDude.com account, you can request delegate access from the account owner. Having delegate access allows you to manage the account's supported products without needing the account's password.

Note: Delegate access is not reciprocal, i.e. if an account owner gives you access to his account, he does not have access to your HostingDude.com account unless you invite him.

  1. When signed in to your HostingDude.com account, click Account Settings, and then click Delegate Access.
  2. In the Accounts I can access box, click Request Access.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    Field What to do...
Account holder name Enter the name of the person who owns the account you want to access. This person will see the name you enter in the email notifying them of your request. You'll also continue to see this name in your list of accounts you can access.
Account holder email Enter the account owner's email address. This doesn't have to be the email address on their HostingDude.com account. You can enter any email address that the owner uses.
Access level Select the access level you want. This does not guarantee you will be given that level of access. The account owner can change your access level before accepting your request.
  4. Click Request.

We'll email the owner your request. Once the request is accepted, we'll email you a final confirmation.
