Resetting cPanel Email Passwords

There are two ways to change your cPanel email password, based on whether or not you know your current password:

Change email password through cPanel

If you forgot the password for a cPanel email account, you must be able to log in to cPanel or the HostingDude.com customer account to reset it.

1. Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the cPanel account you want to use, click Manage.
4. Click cPanel Admin.
5. In the Email section, click Email Accounts or Accounts.
6. Next to the email account you want to use, click or or Change Password.
7. Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Password.

Change email password through webmail

To change your cPanel email password you must be able to log in to your account (i.e. you know your email account's current password).

1. Go to http://your domain name/webmail
2. Log in to your cPanel webmail account.
3. Click Change Password.
4. Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Password.
