Working with cPanel's Logs/Metrics

cPanel offers a number of different monitoring and statistic tools to help you administer your hosting account. You can view all of them in the Metrics section of cPanel.

  1. Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the cPanel account you want to use, click Manage.
  4. Click cPanel Admin.

The following options display in the Metrics section.

Latest Visitors, as the name implies, gives you details about the visitors most recently on your account.

Bandwidth shows you how your account is using bandwidth, or transferring data from your account to its visitors.

Webalizer produces visuals for your account's visitor statistics.

Webalizer FTP is like Webalizer, but analyzes FTP traffic.

Raw Access Logs are the raw Apache logs, which provide detailed information about which files visitors have accessed on your hosting account.

Analog Stats is a basic Web statistics program that gives you comprehensive information about your account's activity.

Error Logs collect information about every instance of your account producing an error for a visitor.

AWStats is an advanced Web statistics application that gives you comprehensive information about your account's activity.

Resource Usage Overview displays information about the resources your account uses, including disk space and bandwidth.
