Changing the Operating System for the Free Hosting Account for Your Reseller Plan

Your Reseller plan comes with a free hosting account, which remains active as long as your Reseller plan does.

To change the operating system for the free hosting account for your Reseller plan, you must first cancel the hosting account, and then set it up again with the desired operating system.

Warning: When you cancel your hosting account, you can no longer access files you uploaded.

If you uploaded files to your hosting account, you must download your files from your hosting account to your local computer and create backups for databases that exist in the hosting account.

Note: For information on downloading your files from your hosting account, see Downloading Files Using the FTP File Manager.

For information on creating backups for your databases, see Backing up and Restoring MySQL or MSSQL Databases.
