Editing Image Galleries
You can change the order of your images, add or remove images, or change display styles for your image galleries in Website Builder v6.
Re-Ordering Image Galleries
You can change the order in which your images display.
To Re-Order Image Galleries
- Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
- In your Products list click Website Builder, and then click Manage next to the account you want to use.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click the image gallery content box, and then do one of the following:
- If you selected Individual for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Double-click the image gallery.
- Click Step 1. Select Images.
- Using the up/down arrows on the left, drag the file to where you want it placed.
- Click OK.
- If you selected Gallery for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Click Exit Designer.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery you want to edit, and then click Manage.
- Click Organize, and then drag the images in the order that you want.
- Click Save.
- If you want to continue editing your website, click the Site tab.
Adding Images to Image Galleries
Once you create image galleries, you can add more images to them.
To Add Images to Image Galleries
- Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
- In your Products list click Website Builder, and then click Manage next to the account you want to use.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click the image gallery content box, and then do one of the following:
- If you selected Individual for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Double-click the image gallery.
- Click Step 1. Select Images.
- Click Add Images.
- Click the images you want to add.
- Click OK, and then click OK.
- If you selected Gallery for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Click Exit Designer.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery you want to edit, and then click Upload.
- Select Photos and videos for your file type .
- Select the gallery you want to add images to, and then click Browse.
- Select the image you want to upload, and then click Open.
- Click Upload, and then wait for your upload to complete.
- If you want to continue editing your website, click the Site tab.
Removing Images from Image Galleries
Once you create image galleries, you can remove images from them.
To Remove Images from Image Galleries
- Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
- In your Products list click Website Builder, and then click Manage next to the account you want to use.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click the image gallery content box, and then do one of the following:
- If you selected Individual for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Double-click the image gallery.
- Click Step 1. Select Images.
- Click Delete next to the image.
Note: The image is permanently removed and cannot be restored once you click OK. If you don't want to delete an image, click the restore icon.
- Click OK.
- If you selected Gallery for your image source when you created your image gallery:
- Click Exit Designer.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery you want to edit, and then click Manage.
- Select the images you want to remove, and then from the Apply this action menu, select Delete Items.
- Click Go, and then click Yes to confirm deletion.
- If you want to continue editing your website, click the Site tab.
Managing Image Gallery Settings
Once you create image galleries, you can manage their settings.
To Manage Image Gallery Settings
- Log in to your HostingDude.com account.
- In your Products list click Website Builder, and then click Manage next to the account you want to use.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click the image gallery content box, and then double-click the image gallery.
- Click Step 2. Settings.
- Click the display style you want:
- Thumbnail — Displays the images as thumbnails. If you click on a thumbnail, the image slideshow displays.
- Show image titles — Displays the name of the image.
- Columns and Rows — Determine the height, width, and image size of the image gallery. For the largest images, choose 1 as the column setting. Navigation for additional images displays if selected column/row settings are not sufficient to show all images.
- Image resizing — Specifies the shapes of images after cropping.
- Slideshow — Displays images in a slideshow. Use the control bar to stop, play, or view the previous or next image in the slideshow. You can also adjust the speed of the slideshow using the slider.
- Show image titles — Displays the name of the image.
- Control bar location — Determines where the control bar is displayed on the slideshow. Uncheck Display control bar to disable the control bar.
- Animated slideshow — Displays images in an animated slideshow. Use the settings to determine how the slideshow is displayed.
- Image size — Determines the size of the images displayed in the slideshow.
- Slide speed — Determines the image rotation speed of the slideshow.
- Effects — Determines the animation effect during image transition.
- Show image titles — Displays the name of the image.
- Control bar location — Determines where the control bar is displayed on the slideshow. Uncheck Display control bar to disable the control bar.
- Thumbnail strip and Thumbnail size — Determines the thumbnail strip location on the slideshow, and the size of the thumbnail images.
- Lightbox — Displays images through a JavaScript application used to magnify image galleries in windows on top of webpages.

- Image size — Determines the size of the images displayed in Lightbox.
- Show image titles — Displays the name of the image.
- Thumbnail — Displays the images as thumbnails. If you click on a thumbnail, the image slideshow displays.
- Click OK.
