To Upgrade from Red Hat 4 to Cent OS 4.7 Using yum

You can migrate from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 to CentOS 4.7 using yum through SSH.

    1. Connect to your server via SSH (more info).
    2. Switch to the root user (more info).
    3. Run the following commands to upgrade to Cent OS 4.7:
      yum clean all
      mkdir ~/centos
      cd ~/centos/
