Suppression reason explained: Unresponsive

Most email providers (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) have tough restrictions on bulk senders with low read rates. This means that the less folks that view your emails, the worse your sender reputation gets. And this hurts your delivery.

For example, if you consistently send 1000 emails, and only 15 people read it, the receiving email providers begin to suspect that those 15 readers are the exception and not the rule. They assume the other 985 people don’t want to receive your emails.

What we do to help you is suppress email addresses for you, automatically, that have been unresponsive for a year or more. Unresponsive means folks who haven’t viewed or clicked any of your sent emails in over 12 months.

This helps to filter out any spam traps that might have mad it onto your list, it removes old and abandoned addresses, it improves your delivery, and it keeps us at Email Marketing safe, too! Also, you won’t be paying for contacts who don’t read your emails!

You can also request a Non-Views list from our support team at (800) 655-5512, at any time! So, instead of waiting to have these folks filtered out, you can get those unresponsive addresses suppressed, proactively. Keep yourself sending safely!
