Whether it's starting a new fashion line, critiquing the latest sartorial developments from the industry, or drumming up funding for new designers, the .fashion extension can cover basically every angle.
Registration Phases
The .fashion launch is divided into two registration phases: Trademark Holder (Sunrise) and Pre-Registration (General Availability.) Each phase has specific application requirements:
Pre-registration gives you the best possible chance of securing a domain name before it's available to the general public, but it doesn't guarantee you will get it. You can only pre-register for General Availability, and we'll submit your registration application when the phase begins.
Multiple applications with different registrars are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis during General Availability. If you aren't able to secure the domain name, we'll refund the registration fee.
From February 4, 2015 at 16:00 UTC to April 6, 2015 at 16:00 UTC, trademark holders can submit an application to register a .fashion domain containing their owned mark, before it's available to the public.
Trademark validation goes through the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH), which is an ICANN global repository for trademark data. Visit the TMCH website for information on registering a trademark.
Bulk .fashion registration is not supported during Sunrise.
If you aren't able to secure the domain name, we cannot refund the application fee.

Registration Information
Anyone can register .fashion domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can only support 3-63 characters (with a minimum of 3 characters), and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. The .fashion domain supports IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following languages: Spanish, German, and French.
Minds + Machines is the sponser and Nominet is the backend provider for the .fashion extension.
You can register a .fashion domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.

We'll attempt to auto-renew your .fashion domain name on its expiration date. We will park .fashion domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
Private Registration is offered for .fashion domain names, but Protected Registration is not available.
No. We currently do not support the backorder of .fashion domain names.
One nameserver is required for .fashion domain to resolve, and a maximum of 13 nameservers is allowed. IPv4, IPv6, and ICANN are supported.
