Applying Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE) service pack 4

To apply MSDE service pack 4 to your Windows VPS or Dedicated Server

1. Log in to your Windows server using Remote Desktop Connection. see Connect via Remote Desktop (RDC) to your Windows server.
2. Download the service pack at MSDN and save to directory C:\SQL2KSP4msde.
3. From the Start menu, click Run....
4. Type cmd and press Enter.
5. Type setup.exe /upgradesp sqlrun and press Enter.
